Sophie won the 2015 ESA Southeast regional. She didnt just win she combo’d the entire field in the final with some really strong surfing. All of the hard work is paying off!
With some solid surfing Sophie takes 3rd at NSSA East Coast Championships in the Explorer womens division and makes it to the semis in open women. Not bad for a kid that just moved out of the girls division this year!

After a Disappointing Result at New Smyrna, Jax Beach Local Kid Sophie Falzone Bounced back taking 2nd Place at the Rip Curl Grom Search OBX event at Nags Head, NC. This placing qualifies her for the Rip Curl Grom Search National Finals at Upper Trestles in California October 25th. With some great new boards by Mike Whisnant we are excited to see what happens next!
Sophie Surfed through 4 solid days of competition at the 2014 NSSA East Coast Championships, Placing 2nd in Explorer Girls and 3rd in Open Girls.
Finals day was amazing Sophie had an awesome final heat in explorer grabbing the 2nd place finish with explosive surfing and dueling it out with Caroline Marks who went on to get the win. Later in the day for the Open final, Sophie was winning for 17 minutes, But 2 waves in the dying minute came in that she was not in position for and unfortunately in less then a minute put her into 3rd with 0:1:30 left on the clock there were no more sets and her Title hopes were dashed. Hold your head up high Kid you Made the finals surfed amazing and grabbed some confidence to go get the next one!

October 19, 2013 was a fun day in Atlantic City, NJ For the First East coast Event of the 2013/2014 Surfing America Prime Season. And the Surf was really good all week, Sophie started off strong winning her first heat of girls u16. and Placing 2nd and moving on in u18. The semis were really intense, Sophie surfed valiantly but got edged out of the u16 in the last seconds, giving her an equal 5th place result and valuable points. The u18 semi was a different story firmly holding on to second and battling to maintain that position. Sophie made it to the u18 girls final and held in there taking 4th place respectively. She had a great event and really turned some heads dropping big scores.

July 26-Aug 4th Sophie went to Playa Negra Costa Rica along with 7 other girls from across the country to get some tips and surf with 4x Womens World Champ, Lisa Andersen.It was a awesome trip is some really good 5-8′ solid surf. For 8 days all of the girls pushed each other in everything from chest high sandbars to double overhead Reef breaks. It was an awesome opportunity to spend time surfing with new friends and What an honor to surf with Lisa.
