Awesome night tonight, got to meet Jamie O’brien and see his new video outside at aqua east!
Sophie got 1st at the 12 Annual Sisters of the Sea event here in Jax. She surfed so well, she won her first heat then went out and charged the final to claim her victory. It’s was a really hard fought win as all the best girls 12 and under Girls from Fernandina to St.Aug were there. Also she is featured in the new void magazine that is out up here, in the up-and-coming groms section.
Gets a Strong 3rd in 11-16 at the Surf Into Summer Grom Series final event. By Doing so Also became the 2010 Series Champion for Girls 10 & Under and Girls 11-16, Taking Both Divisions by Overall Points. Way to end the summer!!!
Besides having to start school today, Sophie has a very busy september ahead of her the Annual Sisters of the Sea is Sept. 11, And Florida Surfing Association contest #3 is Sept.18 (currently points leader in Girls 11 and Under). Also The North Florida ESA Season will be kicking off At the end of the month. and From what we heard there may be an Arnette Antics contest coming to town.
Sophie Just Picked up her New 4’9″ Whisnant Surfboard Sat. as well, so we will be sending out some pics of that a soon as we can get some waves on it!
